Camus Sr. incorporated this firm and served as President and Chairman of the board, until his death in 1979. At this time, Jane R. Camus became Chairperson of the Board and served at that post until 1995. |

Cindy has worked in the business from the age of fifteen since 1970. She began delivering material and working in the office. Today, Cindy manages the office and takes care of all the bookeeping ans serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the Company.
For the past 54 years, Camus Electric Company, has taken pride in its quality crafmanship and timely completion of projects.
Our experience record encompasses all aspects of electricial work needed in the commercial, industrial, hospital construction, apartment complexes, and hotels. In the Shreveport area alone, we have provided the electricial work on Fire Alarm and Special System installations, Operating Room upgrades, emergency power, design build on many large projects, Installation and many projects associated with the medical field. Camus Electric Company, Inc., currently employs nine office personel and ninety-three electricians. All of our electricians are well-trained thru the local IBEW Local union #194 training program and are well-experienced in any aspect of electricial installation.
We have the capabilities and experience to provide the design and installation of top quality electricial and electronic systems.
